bbc150What does Baptist Builders Club do to help struggling churches?

The official guidelines of the BBC•USA outline its reasons for existence: “The purpose of BBC•USA is to assist fellowshipping churches by providing grants and loans to aid in the building, renovation and equipping of facilities crucial to growth and development of a Biblical ministry in the community.”

Since its inception in 1951, BBC•USA has put more than three million dollars into circulation. Some of those monies have been outright gifts. Others have been extended in the form of interest-free loans that have “revolved” to benefit others.

Who decides where the grants and loans are to go, and their terms?

A board of administrators has been appointed. This board meets several times yearly to make careful and prayerful decisions, based on thorough research. The administrators labor to make certain that the right churches are helped in the right way and that the integrity of the program is maintained. They are accountable to the administration and to the Council of Eighteen of the GARBC. An audited report is available.
