Regular Baptist Builders Club is blessed to come alongside First Baptist Church of Niles, Ohio. The church applied for financial assistance with Regular Baptist Builders Club, and in April 2016 the board approved a grant for $20,000 and presented it to the church.

First Baptist began its renovation and addition on Feb. 20. The goal of the project is to update the church’s current facility and add space for growth.

Brent and Michelle Howard, missionary builders with ChurchCare Construction, are assisting in the process. Phase one involved extensive interior demolition. Electrical, plumbing, and framing work have been started, including for the new bathrooms, nursery, and children’s areas, allowing the congregation to see the new layout take shape. Finishing the interior renovations will take place over the next few months.

Phase two, which will immediately follow the interior renovations, will include the addition of a covered entry and drop-off area, a staircase, and classrooms. Pastor David Burman Jr. asks for prayer as the church continues through this project.
