Read Deuteronomy 30 – 32
He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he. Deuteronomy 32:4 KJV
Many wonderful attributes of God are set forth in this verse. (1) He is the Rock. He is a firm place providing a strong and secure foundation where we can stand in changing and stormy times. (2) Everything He does is perfect. God does not make mistakes. His work in our lives is perfect accomplishing His intended goal. (3) All His ways are Judgment. They are a true discernment between right and wrong, good and bad. (4) He is the God of Truth. We can believe what He says and follow it in our lives; in doing so we can enjoy His best in life. (5) He is Without Sin. God does not look upon sin, does not commit sin, and does not encourage sin. Because this is true He will never tempt us to sin, and we can never use sin as an excuse for doing the will of God. (6) He is Just. He does not mistreat us. (7) God is Righteous. We can count on Him to always do what is right for each of us.
Lord, how wonderful You are! You are what I need. Help me to depend upon You in all my ways that I might enjoy the best You have for me, and that I might be more like You and less like this world.
