As soon as reports came in that a tornado had touched down near the farming community around Cedarville, Ohio, Baptist Builders Club staff began reaching out.

On first attempts, the staff could not reach David and Carolyn Culver, pastor and wife at Shawnee Hills Baptist Church, Jamestown, Ohio, thought to be the GARBC church nearest any possible damage. But a later message from Mrs. Culver reported that no damage had been done to the church or the immediate area. Mrs. Culver knew of severe damage only to a large farm. She expressed her appreciation for BBC–USA’s concern.

Every story does not end so well. At times, churches and their communities need support and assistance. Please help the BBC–USA Disaster Relief ministry keep getting ready for when the next disaster occurs. Help prepare and equip Ready Now teams that can GO immediately. Donate today!
