HAZEL PARK, Mich.—Two years have passed since a flood swept through the basement of Tabernacle Baptist Church, causing extensive damage. Two Regular Baptist churches formed ministry teams to help Tabernacle Baptist rebuild, while Regular Baptist Builders Club gave financial aid for materials.

The church is doing well since the cleanup and renovations began. Pastor Richard Yokel expresses his appreciation for those who provided financial support and prayed. Renovations are nearly finished. The church went beyond repairing damages from the flood and made a few improvements to its facility. The church now has two classrooms, which members use every Sunday, and a room for a clothing ministry that provides free clothing for people in the community. Pastor Yokel says, “God has been very good to us!”
