Just as VBS was getting started, the rains came in New York. As a result, Pines Brook Baptist Church suffered a flood and was left with three feet of standing water and mud in the church. Pines Brook BaptistFlood damage caused the church to lose teaching resources, pianos, carpeting, tables, sheetrock, etc., totaling $14,000 in damages.
The church members have raised some of the funds, and the state fellowship has helped, but they are in need of much more assistance. The pastor has stated that with the funds they have in hand, it will take them a long time to get the job done, but they will get it done. Together we can help them get this job completed now so they can put this behind them and can press forward in the ministry.
This GARBC sister church has a need, and it will require many to step up and help them. We are raising $9,000 to help repair damages caused by the flood, and Baptist Builders Club needs everyone’s help.
