During its meeting May 1, Regular Baptist Builders Club’s board of administrators awarded $80,000 in grants and loans to five churches. The grants and loans “will be a great help” to these churches, says Director Clare Jewell.

The board approved second-year Start Up grants of $10,000 to Soteria West Valley in Phoenix and Branch Life Church in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. Branch Life hosted its launch service on April 28 with more than 300 people in attendance.

The board also approved a $10,000 Build Up grant and $10,000 loan to Restored Church in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, for the construction of new bathrooms and the updating of children’s ministry spaces. Compton Heights Baptist Church in Fortuna, California, received a $10,000 Build Up grant and $10,000 loan to help the church develop a parking lot after purchasing an adjacent property.

Bridge of Faith Baptist Church in Omro, Wisconsin, received a $20,000 loan to renovate a bank building as its new church home.
