Ike Clean-Up

In the aftermath of Hurricane Ike clean-up is moving along. The Houston area reports that most schools are already back in session and the clean-up is going much faster than expected. Michael Nolan, BBC Director has been in contact with GARB pastors making sure to get the most current news and needs.

Galveston, Texas the area hardest hit by Ike still has a long way to go. Local teams are on the scene aiding the recovery and clean-up efforts. The island has been closed and authorities are not letting anyone else in.

Many have called and want to offer thier assistance in someway. GARB pastors affected by the hurricane have spoken of what a blessing their fellow brothers and sisters in Christ have been through this ordeal. They say the best way to help now in by prayer.
