GREENVILLE, S.C.—Last month the board of directors of Regular Baptist Builders Club awarded $50,900 in grants and $10,000 in loans to fuel church plants, church planter residencies, facility renovations, and church revitalizations. The ministry approved grants and loans for seven churches and one church planter residency while meeting on the campus of Bob Jones University.

The board also worked through key steps in strategic planning, including the approval of a new mission statement: “Our mission is to fuel the health and reproduction of churches and leaders within the GARBC.” The board conducted a SWOT analysis of the ministry, identifying its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. From that discussion, the board identified four strategic initiatives and set up teams to develop SMART goals for each new initiative, focusing on goals that are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and timely.

Please pray for the board as it plans to meet in early 2020 to continue working on these initiatives, which will enhance the ministry’s capacity to fuel the health and reproduction of churches.
