Brooklyn, NY – Brooklyn Baptist Update

By December 21, 2010No Comments

Brooklyn, NY – Brooklyn Baptist Church is a church home to members that represent over twenty-one different cultures.  Early in 2009, the church started work on their downstairs portion of their building because they were having drainage problems.  The problems continued to pile on as they got into the project with termites and various electrical issues.  The church asked for assistance to complete the job.  Baptist Builders Club granted $15,000 to help with their project.  A year later Director Michael Nolan and his family was able to visit the church.  Their visit started with a breakfast in the newly remodeled basement, followed by a Sunday school hour in the same room.  The morning service, held in the sanctuary, was a “Thankful” service where many gave their testimonies of what God had done in their life in the past year.  Pastor Don LeMaster introduced Michael Nolan to speak and said as a church Brooklyn Baptist was thankful to those at the GARBC and all involved with the ministry of Baptist Builders Club who God used to assist the church with their building project.  He also reported that the project was completed debt free thanks to BBC.
