Before preparing for the ministry, I worked in building construction. In the last project that I was on, for some reason, the foundation drawings did not match up to the building drawings. The supervisor had a serious problem. Either the building plans had to be changed to match the foundation, or the foundation had to be torn out, and done right. You can not build correctly without the right foundation. There is no way for us to over emphasize how important that is to the building of a church, not the physical structure, but the people. We too have a foundation. Unless we build on Jesus Christ, our lives will not be prepared for eternity. Make sure your life is being built on the right foundation.
Lord, through the years of my adult life because I have sought to build my life on Your life, Words, and work at the cross, it has brought stability and confidence to my life. Thank you for being the foundation of my life.
