We need your immediate help for relief efforts!

At the 2013 GARBC Conference, BBC–USA Director Michael Nolan announced the creation of the Disaster Relief Fund. After consulting with a variety of disaster relief organizations, the BBC-USA team developed a list of most commonly needed items.

Fund-raising began immediately and was the focus of the 2013 BBC–USA Christmas Giving Project. Progress is being made, but we still have a long way to go.

We are in the process of raising $53,572 for start-up costs. So far $21,422 has been raised, leaving us with $32,150 still needed.

The immediate necessity and main focus are to purchase a trailer for storing emergency supplies and a vehicle with the capacity to pull the trailer and haul other heavy loads as needed to churches closest to the disaster areas. For our teams to be equipped for the next emergency, we need to purchase these items now. We can’t wait for a disaster to happen; we must be READY NOW when the next disaster strikes.
