SCHAUMBURG, Ill.—Baptist Builders Club has expanded its program, and Great Commission Baptist Church of Schaumburg/Hoffman Estates is the first church to be awarded a grant in the expanded Start Up phase. In its “pre-launch” phase of church planting, GCBC has been granted $5,000 for help in areas such as rental assistance and postcard blitz-mailings. During each of the next three years, the church will be eligible to receive additional funds toward specific needs and will receive Regular Baptist Press curriculum, leadership training, and prayer support. The church currently meets at the Community Recreation Center in Schaumburg.
