DysartIA_inlineWhen Pastor Daniel Hartwig of Calvary Baptist Church, Dysart, Iowa, attended the GARBC Annual Conference in Omaha this past June, he met someone who already seemed familiar. Hartwig saw Michael Nolan, director of Baptist Builders Club, stationed at the BBC–USA display table and recalled that Nolan had once called him after a tornado hit the Dysart area to check on him and his church.

Hartwig asked how he could share the ministry Baptist Builders Club with his congregation. He wanted his people to hear about not only what Baptist Builders Club is doing throughout the nation, but what all the Regular Baptist ministries are doing around the world.

The two men later set a date to have Nolan visit Calvary Baptist Church. On a Sunday morning during Sunday School, Nolan shared an overall picture of Regular Baptist Churches and its value to pastors and churches, as well as presented each of the fellowship’s ministries—International Partnership, Chaplaincy, Regular Baptist Press, and Baptist Builders Club. Then during the morning worship service, Nolan gave a shorter presentation of the ministries and shared a message from God’s Word.

After the service, at the request of the church’s treasurer and deacon chair, Nolan, who is also CFO and treasurer of Regular Baptist Ministries, met with the men to answer financial questions and help in the church’s business matters.
