Hurricane Ike roared through Texas and left plenty of destruction in its path. Flooding has been reported from the Gulf Coast of Texas and Louisiana to Illinois and many points in between.
We called on your assistance over the weekend for prayers and to lift up the three GARB churches in the Houston, TX area. Michael Nolan has talked to all three churches and reports good news of praise that all are doing well and at their initial assessment have said they only suffered minor damages. Baptist Builders Club has committed to all three churches that help will be sent as the need arises and we are standing ready to hear the word from each of them.
Each of the churches will be looking to their members, community, and surrounding communities to determine where they can help and minister.
