Prayer warriors, financial supporters, board members, and guests joined Clare Jewel, director of Regular Baptist Builders Club, for lunch on Wednesday to celebrate all that God is doing through the Regular Baptist Builders Club.

More than 90 people witnessed God’s hand at work—from the training of church planter residents, to the revitalization of churches in Ohio and New York, to the planting of a new church in Pottstown, Pa., to a multisite campus in Tunkhannock, Pa., that has grown to more than 400 people each week. Jewell points out that all of this work has been funded in part through the generosity and sacrifice of those who give to the Regular Baptist Builders Club.

One of the highlights of the lunch was the opportunity to pray over Pastor John Scalley from Emmanuel Baptist in Flint, Michigan. Pastor Scalley recently applied for a Start Up grant to start a second church in Lapeer, Michigan. “In spite of the economic hardship his people face in Flint, the church is growing and is giving sacrificially to extend their outreach to another community. Please join us in praying for Pastor Scalley and Emmanuel Baptist Church,” Jewell says. He is also praising God for all He is doing through the Regular Baptist Builders Club.
