Efforts to communicate with churches in the path of Hurricane Sandy have been on going since yesterday (October 29, 2012). So far there have been reports of evacuations, but damage is still unknown in some areas. A pastor in Atlantic City, New Jersey, said until he is allowed back on the island he will not know the extent of any damage. A pastor in the Bronx, New York, said the whole back of their building was taken out, but he was praising the Lord!

Baptist Builders Club is committed to assisting churches that have experienced damage due to the storm. If you know of a church that needs help, please contact the BBC main office at 847-585-0803. We are standing ready to assist and we are praying for finances to make it possible. To donate to the emergency fund click here.
